En el laboratorio usamos una combinación de pruebas conductuales, evaluaciones histológicas, moleculares y electrofisiológicas para determinar los cambios en la relación funcional entre neuronas y astrocitos durante la inhibición de los receptores NMDA con ketamina, el consumo de una dieta alta en grasas y en la enfermedad de Huntington.
Determinar el impacto de estos modelos sobre la función entre neuronas y astrocitos, nos permitirá identificar blancos terapéuticos.
