The present invention relates to new perimidine derivatives synthesized by direct condensation between naphthalen-1, 8-diamine and itaconic or citraconic anhydrides at low temperature. The target molecule itacoperinone (IP) formed by double double cyclization pathway at low temperature has fluorescence properties by emitting white light intensely. In addition, 9-methylene-8H-pyrrolo[1,2-a]perimidin-10(9H)-one is copolymerizable with various types of organic monomers by free radical mechanism while maintaining its ability to emit white light even within a polymer film.
